Paraguay is one of the largest beef exporters in the world. The quality of the cattle has grown significantly in recent years with improvements in animal health. Grass-fed beef from Paraguay is sourced from a varied mix and cross of Hereford, Angus and zebu (Brahman and Nelore). Braford and Brangus breeds are very well established and produce meat with a relative low cholesterol and fatty content.
